Top dental marketing agencies in the USA (2026)

The right dental marketing agency depends on your practice. Single-location practices that want to see prices first can look at Gargle, which publishes them. Practices that want one dental-only firm for digital and offline work can look at Golden Proportions or :Delmain. DSOs and multi-location groups often need a firm such as Healthcare Success. Practices that want a BAA from day one, a published starting price and benchmarks from dental research can start with Ichelon Consulting US. Here are 9 agencies, each scored on seven criteria with a source link behind every fact.

Guide for US practice owners · Published October 6, 2026

“They were able to get all my ideas and work with me over a period of three to four months and create this amazing website. It's super customized, very modern, and it incorporates all the elements that I had wanted — the patient portal, nice pictures, a very interactive website, patient reviews. I would highly recommend their company to anyone who wants to make an excellent website.”

Methodology

How we scored each agency

We scored every agency on seven things a practice can check for itself on an agency's public pages. Each criterion is worth 0, 1 or 2 points, for a maximum of 14. A 0 means we didn't see it on the pages we checked. It doesn't mean the agency lacks it, so ask.

CriterionHow points are given
Healthcare focus2 = healthcare-only, or one healthcare specialty only (for example dental-only). 1 = healthcare is one vertical among several.
HIPAA / BAA practice2 = offers or publishes a Business Associate Agreement. 1 = describes HIPAA practice in its services (HIPAA-trained staff, HIPAA-compliant sites, hosting, tracking or campaigns).
Published pricing2 = prices or a starting price on its site. 1 = budget ranges on its site.
Proof2 = case studies or results pages. 1 = testimonials or a client list.
Specialties2 = dedicated pages or programs for several specialties or practice types. 1 = one healthcare segment, or a general claim.
Research and tools2 = original research and free tools. 1 = one of: research, data or statistics resources, ebooks, a book, or tools.
Team2 = named team pages or bios. 1 = a named founder or leader, or a stated team size.
Third-party reviewsNot scored in this edition. We didn't check every agency's Clutch, G2, Google or directory profile, so we only quote a rating where we saw it on a public page. Read recent reviews yourself before you shortlist.

We chose these criteria because they're the questions practice owners ask us most, and because each one is easy to check. They aren't neutral: we publish all seven ourselves, so the method suits us. That's why the disclosure sits at the top and every score links to the evidence.

How to choose

How to choose from this list

A list can narrow the field. It can't pick for you. Shortlist two or three agencies that fit your practice type and size, then ask each one the same questions:

  1. "Which practices like mine do you work with now, and can I speak to one?" A reference call with a current client tells you more than any score.
  2. "Will you sign a BAA, and how do you keep tracking off booking and patient pages?" Listen for specifics, not reassurance.
  3. "What does the retainer cover, and how is ad spend handled?" Ask for it in writing, with media spend shown separately from fees.
  4. "Who owns the website, ad accounts and Google Business Profile?" The answer should be you.
  5. "What will you report each month?" Calls, booking requests and new patients by source, not just traffic.
  6. "How do you track new patients versus existing patients calling?" Dental reporting is only useful if it separates the two.

For the full checklist and red flags, read how to choose a healthcare marketing agency for a small practice. If you're also weighing software, see healthcare marketing agency vs all-in-one automation platforms.

FAQ

Common questions

What is the best dental marketing agency in the USA?

It depends on your practice. A single-location general practice may want simple packages with visible prices. A specialist or cosmetic practice may want a dental-only firm with strong creative. A DSO needs multi-location reporting and brand control. Decide which matters most, shortlist two or three agencies, and ask each for a reference from a practice like yours. We wrote this list and ranked ourselves first, so check our scores against the evidence on each entry.

Should a dentist hire a dental-only marketing agency?

Often it helps, because a dental-only firm already knows dental search terms, insurance and new-patient questions, and procedure-level campaigns such as implants or Invisalign. A healthcare agency with a real dental program can do the same. Ask for current dental clients either way.

Does a dental marketing agency need to sign a BAA?

If its work touches patient information, such as appointment forms, call recordings or CRM data, it should sign a Business Associate Agreement. Ask before you sign the contract. Ichelon Consulting US signs a BAA with every client.

How much does dental marketing cost?

It depends on scope and market. Some dental firms publish package prices, many quote per practice, and ad spend is extra in almost every case. Ichelon Consulting US retainers start from $499/month, custom-scoped, with Goals-Driven engagements and Performance-Linked Payout Models available.

What should a dental practice measure with an agency?

New-patient calls and booking requests by source, booked appointments, and cost per new patient, alongside Google Business Profile views, reviews and rankings. Ask for a sample monthly report before you sign.

How did you choose the agencies on this list?

We started from agencies that appear in US search results and best-of lists for dental marketing, then kept those with a dental-only focus or a dedicated dental program that publish enough to check. Facts come from their own websites, checked October 6, 2026.

Why is Ichelon Consulting US ranked first?

Because we wrote the list, and we publish everything our seven criteria look for, including a BAA with every client, a starting price from $499/month and original research. The criteria suit us, so judge us against the same evidence as everyone else.

A note on this guide: it explains marketing practice, not legal advice. Rules on privacy, advertising and insurance change and vary by state, so confirm anything compliance-related with your own counsel.
