“They were able to get all my ideas and work with me over a period of three to four months and create this amazing website. It's super customized, very modern, and it incorporates all the elements that I had wanted — the patient portal, nice pictures, a very interactive website, patient reviews. I would highly recommend their company to anyone who wants to make an excellent website.”
The practice
Dr. Anshul Gupta, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician and former Cleveland Clinic functional medicine doctor. His practice treats thyroid disease, Hashimoto's and chronic illness through virtual consultations with patients across the United States.
A telehealth practice has no neighbourhood and no map pack. Patients find it because they were already searching for answers about their condition and found a doctor who explained it clearly.
The problem
When Dr. Gupta came to us, his YouTube channel was stuck. In his words: "my YouTube channel was stuck and despite my own efforts, it was not growing." For a practice whose patients arrive through education, a stalled channel means a stalled pipeline.
What we did
Rohit and Abhash reviewed the channel and identified the gaps. Sabhyaa, our head of projects, then led the team through a complete evaluation of the channel and an SEO-led content strategy: which questions patients search for, how videos are titled and structured so they can be found, and how the channel and website support each other.
Alongside YouTube, we run SEO for his website and AI-search optimisation, so the same patient questions are answered on Google, in AI Overviews and in AI assistants that increasingly send patients to a doctor.
The result, in his words
"They created a specific strategy which was based on SEO and also completely evaluating the channel, which worked great and actually has propelled our YouTube channel to new heights. Because of the channel growth, we have seen new patient consultations coming on a regular basis, and this has also helped in our business growth."

Hi, I'm Dr. Anshul Gupta, a functional medicine physician from the US. When I first approached Ichelon Consulting, my YouTube channel was stuck and despite my own efforts, it was not growing. That's where Rohit and Abhash quickly identified the gaps, and then Sabhyaa, who was head of projects, demonstrated business acumen and strategic insights. She, along with her team, did a great job of reviving my YouTube channel and also increased my reach to several other people. They created a specific strategy which was based on SEO and also completely evaluating the channel, which worked great and actually has propelled our YouTube channel to new heights. Because of the channel growth, we have seen new patient consultations coming on a regular basis, and this has also helped in our business growth. So I highly recommend their team if you are looking to scale your business to new heights.

What other practices can take from this
- For telehealth, education is the funnel. Patients who have watched a doctor explain their condition arrive at the consultation already trusting him.
- YouTube is a search engine. Titles, structure and topic choice decide whether a good video is found, and SEO thinking fixed a channel that effort alone could not.
- Answer the questions patients actually ask. "Is turmeric bad for hypothyroidism?" is a real question with real searchers, and the doctor who answers it well earns their attention.
What's next
Keep building the library of patient questions across YouTube, the website and AI search, so each new video and article feeds the same pipeline of consultations.
