“They were able to get all my ideas and work with me over a period of three to four months and create this amazing website. It's super customized, very modern, and it incorporates all the elements that I had wanted — the patient portal, nice pictures, a very interactive website, patient reviews. I would highly recommend their company to anyone who wants to make an excellent website.”

"Typical reviews" is the median Google review count. City figures come from smaller samples (shown) and swing more than national ones; read them as typical, not exact.
Four patterns across US cities
- Ratings are compressed. Every city averages between 4.74 (San Francisco) and 4.92 stars. A great rating is expected everywhere. See average med spa rating.
- Review depth varies about fivefold. From 58.5 reviews for a typical med spa in Las Vegas to 289.5 in San Diego. The bar a new med spa has to clear depends on where it is. See how many reviews a med spa needs.
- Thin profiles cluster in a few cities. Las Vegas (45%) and Nashville (32.4%) have the most med spas under 50 reviews, which leaves room for newer med spas to catch up.
- Weekend access is a local choice. In Austin only 40% open a weekend day; in Boston, 90%. See weekend hours.

Common questions
Which US city has the most competitive med spa market on Google?
By review depth, San Diego stands out: the typical med spa there has about 289.5 Google reviews, versus 148 nationally. Dallas has the highest share of med spas with 500 or more reviews (26.5%).
In which city is it easiest for a new med spa to stand out on Google?
Where review profiles are thinnest. In Las Vegas, the typical med spa has about 58.5 reviews and 45% have fewer than 50, so a steady review routine can move a med spa up quickly.
Which cities are included?
The 19 metros with at least 10 med spas in our sample: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Scottsdale, Seattle, Washington DC. Phoenix had 9 and is not reported on its own.
How reliable are city figures?
City samples range from 20 to 64 med spas, so they swing more than national figures. Treat them as typical of each city rather than exact.
