Dental practice marketing in the US
Most new dental patients start on Google: a "dentist near me" search, a look at the map, a scan of reviews, then a call. Dental marketing that works makes your practice the obvious choice at each of those steps, then makes sure every call and form is answered and tracked to a booked appointment. This hub brings together our 138 US dental pages: city pages across 17 states, our national dental pages, marketing guides, state and federal compliance, and our dental research.

“They were able to get all my ideas and work with me over a period of three to four months and create this amazing website. It's super customized, very modern, and it incorporates all the elements that I had wanted — the patient portal, nice pictures, a very interactive website, patient reviews. I would highly recommend their company to anyone who wants to make an excellent website.”
How we market dental practices
We run dental marketing through the same nine-stage patient journey we use for every practice. For dentists, four stages carry most of the weight:
Be found on the map
A complete, active Google Business Profile for each location, accurate listings, and location pages that match what patients search: emergency dentist, implants, Invisalign, family dentist.
Win high-value treatments
Google Ads for implants, clear aligners, cosmetic and emergency dentistry, with search terms reviewed weekly so budget goes to patients who book, not to job seekers or students.
Earn trust in reviews
A steady, compliant review request after visits, and prompt, HIPAA-safe replies that never confirm someone is a patient.
Answer every enquiry
Call tracking, a callback queue and after-hours handling, so the calls your marketing pays for turn into appointments.

Dental marketing: common questions
What does dental practice marketing include?
For most practices it covers Google Business Profile management, local and website SEO, Google Ads for high-value treatments such as implants, Invisalign and emergency dentistry, review generation and replies, and tracking that ties each call and form back to a booked appointment. Multi-location groups and DSOs add location pages, centralised reporting and call handling across offices.
Which rules apply to dental advertising in the US?
Each state dental board sets its own advertising rules, usually covering specialty claims, testimonials, before-and-after photos and fee advertising. Federal rules apply on top: the FTC requires advertising, including reviews and testimonials, to be truthful and not misleading, and HIPAA governs how patient information is used in marketing. Our state board and HIPAA guides below cover the details.
How much does dental marketing cost with Ichelon Consulting US?
Retainers start at $499/mo. We also offer Goals-Driven engagements and Performance-Linked Payout Models. Ad spend is paid directly to Google or Meta from your own accounts.
Do you work with pediatric dental and orthodontic practices?
Yes. Pediatric dentistry is marketed to parents, so the content, insurance information (including Medicaid and CHIP where the practice participates) and booking flow are different. Orthodontic practices have a longer decision cycle, with free consultations and financing at the center. Both have their own guides below.
