9.3% of reviews with text were negative, 89.0% positive and 1.6% neutral. Among the 122 negative reviews, staff & bedside manner leads with 22.1%, then wait time & scheduling (20.5%). The sharpest difference from the national pattern is price & value: 18.9% of negatives here, 13.8% nationally.
What this means for marketing
For owners and marketing heads of healthcare brands in Hyderabad, the numbers point to a short list of priorities:
- Fix the most common complaint firstStaff & bedside manner accounts for 22.1% of negative reviews (n = 122). Treat the front desk and patient coordinators as part of marketing: script the first call and the reception handover, and train the people who reply to reviews to acknowledge the person before the problem.
- Watch price & valueIt makes up 18.9% of negative reviews here against 13.8% nationally. Make money conversations predictable: say on landing pages and in ads what a first consultation includes and when costs will be discussed, and make sure estimates are explained before anything starts.
- Keep replying, and improve the repliesOwners replied to 66.5% of reviews on average, above the national 60.5% (n = 35), and 31.4% of brands replied to fewer than half. The gap to close now is quality: a personal reply to each negative review within a day or two, an offer to resolve it offline, and no treatment details in public.
- Set a review-request routine against your peersThe median leading profile here adds about 36.4 reviews a month (national 22.9). If yours adds fewer, a consistent post-visit request by WhatsApp or SMS, sent to every patient without incentives or filtering, closes the gap over months. Google’s policies prohibit incentivised and selectively solicited reviews.
