PatientPulse · Managed WhatsApp CRM for clinics
Backed by App\Support\NamedExperts::get(). --}}Most clinics buy a WhatsApp Business API subscription and use 3% of it. PatientPulse is the productised operations layer that actually lights it up — template libraries approved, reception SOPs written, inbound leads triaged inside minutes, appointment reminders and recall sequences running on autopilot. Published pricing: ₹14,999 to ₹1,49,999 per month.
What is PatientPulse, and why does it exist as a separate product?
PatientPulse is Ichelon Consulting Group's productised managed-services layer for the WhatsApp Business API in Indian healthcare. A clinic subscribes to a Business Solution Provider — Wati, Interakt, AiSensy or any Meta-verified BSP — and pays ICG a fixed monthly fee to operate the entire message layer on top. That means: getting the BAPI account provisioned and green-lit by Meta, publishing and maintaining a compliant utility template library, writing the reception SOPs, triaging inbound leads inside a four-minute first-response SLA, wiring appointment reminders and prescription-ready alerts to the clinic management software, and vetting every marketing template against the NMC Code of Ethics and DPDP Act 2023 before it ships. We built PatientPulse because 8 out of 10 clinics we audit have a WhatsApp Business API subscription and 3% of its capability lit up — templates unapproved, no auto-acknowledgement, receptions typing every reply by hand, no recall sequences, no analytics loop. The subscription fee gets paid every month; the lead-to-appointment conversion stays exactly where it was. PatientPulse is why the subscription starts converting. Published pricing: Starter ₹14,999 / Growth ₹49,999 / Scale ₹1,49,999 / Enterprise ₹3,00,000+ per month.
A four-hour first response costs the clinic 60% of the lead.
The famous MIT / InsideSales lead-response study measured a 60% drop in qualification odds when first response drifted past four hours, and a 21x collapse past 30 minutes. Indian healthcare replicates that curve almost exactly — with two twists that make it worse.
Leads land at 11 PM.
Aesthetic, IVF and dental buyers research late. The clinic that replies at 9:15 AM the next morning has lost to whichever agency answered at 11:07 PM.
Reception is on the phone.
A clinic receptionist juggling walk-ins, phone bookings and pharma reps cannot also monitor a WhatsApp inbox in real time. The message sits for an hour while she books an ultrasound.
Templates are unapproved.
Without approved utility templates the clinic cannot send a reminder outside the 24-hour customer service window. So the ₹40,000 BAPI subscription runs at a fraction of its designed use.
No one is measuring.
First response time, message-to-appointment rate, template quality rating — the numbers that decide whether WhatsApp is working — are nobody's monthly report. So nothing improves.
Median first response before PatientPulse onboarding: 3 hours 42 minutes. Median first response after 30 days of PatientPulse: 3 minutes 18 seconds. Message-to-appointment rate improvement in the same window averages 2.4x. These are internal medians across ~40 clinic engagements between July 2026 and August 2026.
Four operating pillars. All four included on Growth and above.
BAPI setup and provisioning
Meta Business Manager verification, phone-number registration, display name approval, WhatsApp green tick submission (where volume qualifies), display picture and about-us hygiene, webhook configuration, quality rating protection from Day 1.
Template library authoring and approval
20 utility templates on Starter; unlimited on Growth and above. Categories covered: appointment confirmation, appointment reminder (24h and 2h), prescription-ready, report-ready, follow-up recall, birthday, festival, package launch, cross-sell offer, feedback ask. Every template written under NMC Section 6 and DPDP Act 2023 constraints.
Inbound triage inside a 4-minute SLA
Every new inbound message gets an auto-acknowledgement inside 30 seconds via an approved utility template, and a human reply from ICG's ops bench inside 4 minutes. We qualify, route to the right doctor or department, and hand off with full context. Growth covers 30 leads/day; Scale is uncapped.
Appointment automation and recall sequences
The clinic's booking events fire a 24-hour reminder, a 2-hour reminder, a post-visit thank-you, a 30-day recall, and specialty-specific sequences (IVF cycle, aligner tracking, dental implant osseointegration, dermatology repeat). Wired to your clinic management system where webhooks exist; managed inside PatientPulse where they do not.
Four tiers. Everything on the table.
Pricing is monthly, ex-GST. BAPI provider fees and Meta conversation charges are pass-through at cost — typically ₹3,000-₹15,000 per month for a single-clinic Growth engagement, depending on volume.

Four steps from onboarding to steady-state.
Provision and audit
BAPI provider account, Meta Business Manager verification, number registration, display picture and about-us hygiene, quality-rating baseline, existing template audit if the clinic was already live.
Author and approve
Write the 20-template library (or full library on Growth+), submit to Meta, iterate rejections, publish approved copies, wire them to booking events on the CMS. Draft reception SOPs against the actual daily volume pattern.
Triage live
ICG ops bench takes primary inbound. Reception shadows. Response SLA locks in. Recall sequences fire for the first 30-day cohort. First analytics snapshot at Day 30 with baseline vs current.
Steady-state + review
Monthly review call (weekly on Scale). Template quality rating monitoring. New templates as offers change. Recall sequences A/B tested. Compliance re-vet quarterly. Reception refresh every 90 days.
Three categories. All three work. Pick the one your stack fits.
ICG is category-neutral. We operate PatientPulse on top of Wati, Interakt, AiSensy and other Meta-verified Business Solution Providers. We name each category by what it optimises for, not by brand loyalty. Our discovery call picks the provider that fits your clinic management software, ticket volume and integration needs.
Template-first BAPI
Pick when: you send a lot of scheduled outbound (appointment reminders, recall sequences, festival campaigns) and need clean template management, template quality rating dashboards, and stable webhooks. Best fit for high-volume single or multi-clinic operations.
Representative provider: Wati.
Chatbot-first BAPI
Pick when: you want a visual flow builder for a triage bot, FAQ handling, or lead qualification questionnaires before a human takes over. Best fit for clinics where the first-touch is often information-gathering (aesthetic consultation, dermatology enquiry, dental implant screening).
Representative provider: Interakt.
API-first BAPI
Pick when: your hospital or chain runs an in-house tech stack and needs to push and pull messages from your own backend. Documentation quality, REST surface completeness, per-second rate limits and webhook reliability matter more than UI polish.
Representative provider: AiSensy.
What actually happens on discovery. We ask three questions — what is your clinic management software, what is the expected inbound volume, and does your team need a visual builder. The answers point to one category. We do not take a fee from any BSP, so the recommendation stays honest.
