Ichelon Consulting Group was founded in 2018 by three IIT BHU engineers who saw a persistent gap in how healthcare organisations approached growth. The founders had graduated from IIM Bangalore and IIM Rohtak, and had watched talented healthcare brands plateau, not for lack of effort, but because the marketing architecture underneath was never designed for how healthcare patients actually make decisions.
ICG was built around a single conviction: growth in healthcare is an architecture problem, not a creative or spend problem. Every service, system, and framework ICG builds flows from that belief.
Today, ICG works with 150+ healthcare brands across India, from single-specialty clinics to multi-location hospital networks and national diagnostic chains.
All three co-founders graduated from IIT BHU, engineers by training, operators by experience. Rohit holds an MBA from IIM Rohtak. Abhash from IIM Bangalore. What that means in practice: every ICG framework, system and benchmark is built by people who understand both the technical infrastructure and the commercial logic of what they are building.
In April 2026, ICG hosted Aarambh, India's first dedicated AI Healthcare Summit, marking its transition from agency to intelligence partner.

The first client was a
dermatology clinic in Gurgaon.
High CPL. Low lead quality. An agency that could not explain why.
We spent two weeks mapping their search terms, their funnel, their telecalling process, and their landing pages before touching a single campaign. The diagnosis: 70% of their ad budget was going to broad match keywords that were triggering for generic skin queries, not dermatology intent. We moved that 70% to phrase match on treatment + location combinations. CPL dropped 35% in the first month.
That clinic is still a client in 2026. Eight years later.

A high CPL is almost never a creative problem.
It is a channel selection, keyword architecture, or audience segmentation problem. Creative is the last lever to pull, not the first. Most agencies start with creative because that is what they sell. We start with structure because that is where the root cause lives.
ROAS measured at lead level is a vanity metric.
True ROAS is measured at patient admission. We built Beacon — our CAPI middleware — specifically because the only ROAS number that matters is the one connected to actual patient revenue, not the one Meta or Google reports back to a dashboard.
The best healthcare marketers are part-doctor, part-analyst, part-architect.
They understand why a patient hesitates. They can read a Google Ads search term report and a clinical outcome conversation in the same hour. They translate compliance constraints into marketing leverage rather than treating them as obstacles. We hire and train for this intersection — it is what makes ICG difficult to clone.

No solution is designed before the root cause is found. Every ICG engagement begins with a structured diagnostic, not a service proposal. This is non-negotiable, regardless of engagement size.
Brand alignment is the filter every decision passes through. ICG will not scale campaigns that sit outside the brand's defined positioning, because speed without alignment erodes, not builds, equity.

Ichelon Consulting Group was founded in 2018 by three IIT BHU graduates who subsequently completed postgraduate studies at IIM Bangalore and IIM Rohtak. ICG was built specifically for the healthcare sector from day one, not a general digital agency that later added a healthcare practice.
