A calling app your telecallers will actually work from all day
A telecaller's day is a list of people to ring and a record of what each one said. In most clinics those two things live in different places: the list in a CRM tab on a shared computer, the calls on a personal phone, and the notes in someone's memory until the end of the shift.
The AtomCRM calling app puts both on the phone the telecaller is already holding. It has five screens and does one thing well: ring this person, then write down what happened while it is still fresh.
- The AtomCRM calling app is an Android app with five screens: My leads, Follow-ups, Calls, Missed and Me.
- Every lead row has a dial button, and the lead page has one green Call button.
- When the telecaller returns from a call, the update form is already open: stage, follow-up date and note, one Save.
- A stage change without a note is refused, and stages that need a callback date will not save without one.
- Administration stays in the desktop CRM; the app is only for calling.
The whole app, screen by screen
The app is deliberately small. Anything an administrator does, such as setting up stages, users or ladders, stays in the desktop CRM. The phone is for the person making calls.
My leads
Opens on the telecaller's own leads, newest first. Search by name, phone, email or lead ID; filter by stage, source, owner, date and starred. Any filter applied shows as a removable pill, so nobody thinks a lead has vanished.
Follow-ups
Promises made, in three buckets: overdue, today and upcoming, each with its count. Each row can be marked done or dialled without leaving the list.
Calls
The phone's own call log for the last week, with direction, outcome, talk time and whether the call and its recording have reached the CRM.
Missed
Missed incoming calls being offered to this telecaller, with a countdown, plus every ladder still walking and the ones already rescued or lost.
Me
The telecaller's own calls, connect rate, talk time and an hour-by-hour strip, plus where their phone forwards calls it does not answer.
One green button, then one form
The lead page puts name, number, stage and the Call button above the fold. Before the call even connects, it shows whether this number has ever worked: never attempted, connected before, or tried and never connected. That line alone changes how a telecaller opens the conversation.
Below it sits the history, newest first: earlier calls with their durations and recordings, notes and stage changes. While the phone is ringing, the telecaller can read what the clinic already said to this patient.
The Call button is the only green button on the screen, so nothing competes with it. When the telecaller comes back from the dialer, the app notices, shows how long they were away and has the update form already open. Stage, follow-up date and note go into one form with one Save. Earlier versions of this screen had three buttons and three saves, and each could be left half-done.
Why the app refuses some saves
Two rules in the calling app exist because of how clinic leads actually go stale.
First, a stage change without a note is refused. "Not interested" with no reason is a dead end for whoever picks up the lead next. They cannot tell whether the patient said no, the number was wrong, or nobody answered. Asking for one sentence at the moment the call ends is the only time it gets written honestly. At the end of a shift and forty calls later, it will not be.
Second, stages that your CRM marks as needing a callback or an appointment will not save without a date, and the app says so before the telecaller presses Save rather than after. A "call back later" with no date is how an interested patient drifts to another clinic.
A leads list built to answer one question
Every row in My leads shows name, reference, stage, city and what is due. Overdue shows in red, due today in amber. A score band sits next to the dial button, where it answers the only question the row asks: ring this now, or not?
Your workspace's own stages appear on one scrolling line in the colours you set in the CRM. Tapping toggles, so "New or Contacted" is two taps. Colour is never decoration: red means overdue, amber means due, green means done, and a screen with nothing wrong is plain black on white.
The list opens scoped to the telecaller's own leads, and says so. Switching to all leads is one tap, and the server still limits it to what that person is permitted to see.
See the workflow before you buy handsets
The whole lead workflow, meaning the list, lead detail, dialling, the after-call form, follow-ups and the telecaller's own figures, runs on any Android 10 or newer phone. Only the parts that read the handset itself, call capture and recordings, depend on which phone you use.
So a clinic can put the app in front of its telecallers first, see whether they take to it, and only then decide on handsets. Pricing is ₹799/- per telecaller per month after the one-time setup, so the cost of a pilot is small and the decision is easy to reverse.
What AtomCRM costs
₹50,000/- one-time setup
+ ₹799/- per telecaller per month
The calling app is included for every telecaller. Calls go over the SIMs your team already uses, so there is no IVR to rent. The only added running cost is storage for the call recordings you choose to keep.
AtomCRM is live at 80+ healthcare centres in India, including 15+ IVF centres, 20+ aesthetic centres and 10+ eye centres.
The calling app: common questions
Does the telecaller have to dial from the app for the call to be logged?
No. Calls dialled from the phone's own dialer, returned from a notification or answered as incoming are all read from the call log and attributed to the person who paired the handset. Dialling from the app simply means the after-call form opens by itself.
Can telecallers see leads that are not assigned to them?
They can switch from their own leads to all leads with one tap, but the server still limits the list to the data that person is permitted to see in AtomCRM.
Which phones does the calling app run on?
Android 10 or newer. The lead workflow runs on any such phone. Call recordings need a phone with a built-in call recorder, such as Samsung, Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo or OnePlus handsets.
Is there an iPhone version?
No. The calling app depends on reading the phone's call log and recording folder, which Android allows for a directly installed workforce app. Managers and doctors can use the desktop CRM from any device.
What does the calling app cost?
It is included in AtomCRM pricing: ₹50,000/- one-time setup plus ₹799/- per telecaller per month.
