Phoenix vs Zenoti Reporting: When You Need an Action Layer (And Why)
Zenoti is a PMS with reporting. Phoenix is the action layer Zenoti was never designed to be.

Direct answer
Zenoti is a PMS with reporting. Phoenix is the action layer Zenoti was never designed to be.
TL;DR
By Raman Soni, Head of Performance Marketing at ICG.
TL;DR
- Zenoti is a PMS with reporting. Phoenix is an action layer that reads from Zenoti and tells your team who to call today.
- Zenoti shows monthly revenue, package usage, appointment history. Phoenix surfaces the patient who needs the call right now.
- For multi-centre chains: Zenoti for booking and invoicing, Phoenix for daily action queue.
Zenoti is the leading PMS for wellness and dermatology chains in India. Phoenix is not a replacement. It reads from Zenoti and adds the action layer Zenoti was never designed to be. This post explains the difference.
What Zenoti does
Zenoti is a practice management software. It books appointments, processes payments, manages inventory, tracks packages and memberships, and produces monthly revenue reports. The reporting module shows what happened across centres.
What Zenoti does not do
Zenoti tells you that 274 patients have not visited in 45+ days. It does not tell your counsellor which of those 274 to call first today, what to say, or how to log the outcome so the queue updates automatically.
Zenoti reports that package usage is at 85% across the centre. It does not surface the individual patient on session 11 of 12 who needs the renewal conversation this week, with the suggested talking points already drafted.
Zenoti shows monthly revenue. It does not show real-cash vs redemption against today's target.

Phoenix sits on top of Zenoti
Phoenix connects to Zenoti via API on a daily sync. It reads patient records, appointment history, package data, invoice data. It runs a signal engine that checks every active patient against 9 criteria (Visit Frequency Drift, Amount Due, Post-Treatment Follow-up, Package Expiring, Birthday, Low-Conversion First Visit, Product Repurchase Due, Package Renewal Lapsed, Package Near Complete).
Each patient that triggers a signal gets sorted into one of three buckets: Prevent Loss (urgent), Maintain & Engage (retention), Grow Revenue (closeable).
Your counsellor opens Phoenix in the morning and sees a ranked queue. Each row shows: the signal, the days inactive, the revenue at stake, and what to say. Every touchpoint (call, WhatsApp, in-person) is logged. The queue updates automatically.

When Phoenix is the right call
Phoenix is built for multi-centre clinic chains (3+ centres) with an active PMS and a counsellor team. Currently deployed: 46-centre rollout for a hair and skin chain.
For single-centre clinics with one counsellor, Zenoti's built-in reports may be enough. For chains where patient outreach is currently done by "whoever the counsellor remembers", Phoenix is the layer that systematises it.
